Apply for the Future Leaders Movement Grant to embark on a fully-funded, three- to six-month professional development journey. You’ll be matched with a seasoned coach or mentor aligned to your unique career goals, receive customized training, and gain the skills and resources needed to break barriers and shape a world where every voice leads.
At the Future Leaders Movement (FLM), we believe that true leadership emerges when individuals from all backgrounds are given the opportunity to rise. Our grant program is designed to break down barriers, providing access to personalized professional development, mentorship, and career training for individuals from underrepresented and underserved communities.

By fostering diverse voices and equipping future leaders with the tools to succeed, FLM is transforming the leadership landscape. Through this grant, we aim to empower applicants to not only advance their careers but also to make a meaningful impact within their communities.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY ?
The Professional Development Grant is open to individuals from all backgrounds who meet the following criteria.

Identify as part of an underrepresented or underserved (what we call "untapped") group
Examples include (but are not limited to) women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, first-generation professionals, people with disabilities, or others who face systemic barriers. -
Do not receive employer-sponsored financial assistance
Applicants must not be receiving funds from their employers specifically for professional development or coaching services. -
Are 18 years or older and proficient in English
Applicants should be able to effectively participate in coaching sessions conducted in English. -
Demonstrate a clear commitment to personal and professional growth
Applicants should show dedication to leadership development and contributing positively to their community or field. -
Reside in the United States
Only U.S. residents are eligible. -

What is the Professional Development Grant? It’s a program offering 100% free access (full funding) or a 50% discount (partial funding) on our professional coaching and mentorship services, aimed at supporting underrepresented individuals in developing leadership skills. We will assign you with a coach and/or mentor based on your goals and background.
Who is eligible to apply? Applicants must come from underrepresented communities and should not receive employer-funded coaching support. We look for candidates who show strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
How flexible is the program? The program is very flexible, with self-paced learning and coaching sessions scheduled around your existing commitments. It’s not a full-time program.
What happens if I’m not selected for the full grant? You may still be eligible for a 50% discount through the Partial-Funding Program and will be given the option to join if you’re not selected for full funding.
Is my application information confidential? Yes, all submitted information is kept private and only reviewed by our selection committee.
